Milwaukee Dining
Milwaukee's Old World Third Street along (and just West of) the Milwaukee River has many of Milwaukee's best restaurants and night-clubbing locations. Brady Street, on the Northeast side, also has many nice restaurants and shops. Brady Street consists of relatively inexpensive but high-quality restaurants, bakeries, and bars. Old World Third Street provides a richer variety and also many of the more upscale restaurants (and clubs) in Milwaukee. Traditional Germanic and Mediterranean foods are the highlights.
Some of the best food experiences are to be found in one of the following places:
Kosher Meat Club 4731 West Burleigh, Milwaukee, WI 53210 414-871-3273 Relaxed atmosperic restaurant serving American cuisines.
Olive Garden 4760 S 76th St, Milwaukee, WI 53220 414-281-9595 Olive Garden's Culinary Institute of Tuscany, located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy in a restored 11th century village, is where Olive Garden's chefs learn the secrets of great Italian cooking - like how to combine fresh ingredients - to create authentic Italian dishes that you'll enjoy sharing with your family and friends.
Brew City Barbecue 1114 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202 414-278-7033 If you're into barbecue and Cajun food, there's no better place to go. Ichiban 2336 N Farwell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53211 414-278-8056 Fresh sushi, light and crispy tempura, and a variety of noodle dishes draw raves from the regulars at this well-liked Japanese restaurant. The "Teppan Yaki" room even makes this a popular choice for Japanese steak house fans.
Eagan's on Water 1030 N Water St, Milwaukee, WI 53202 +1 305 444 0240 Fresh seafood flown in daily from all over the world is on offer at Eagan's, and the raw bar is probably the best in the city, so it's no surprise that the place gets packed nearly every single night. Starters include sushi and various chilled shellfish platters, all impeccably fresh.
